Troy Tribe Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Tribe has more than 17 years of industry experience as an Entrepreneur and Key Executive. Prior to joining True North Academy, Troy was co-founder of Solera Networks and was instrumental in positioning the company for acquisition by The Canopy Group. Additionally, Troy was part of the founding team of Assentive Corporation, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. While at Assentive he was instrumental in raising $35 Million in funding with Sun Microsystems, Intel, SAIC, TL Ventures and J.W. Seligman.
At Assentive, his teams managed relationships with John Deere International, Mercury Marine, General Motors, Mitsubishi, General Electric and others. He also held positions at Viewpoint Digital (VWPT), as Director of Sales and Business Development where he was part of the senior team that positioned the company for acquisition by Computer Associates. While at Viewpoint Digital, he managed relationships with Disney, Industrial Light & Magic, General Motors, Pixar and DreamWorks and worked on feature films to include Shrek, Batman, Armageddon, Titanic, Air force One, ANTZ and Mission Impossible. Prior to Viewpoint Digital, he worked in Silicon Valley for Xerox PARC (Semaphore, Inc), A Xerox Technology Venture (XTV) Company as Western Regional Director of Sales and Key Account Manager.
